I have been a child centered Registered Play Therapist (RPT) for the past four years. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri and I have worked as a School Counselor for the past 17 years. I am also a Co-group Facilitator for the Incredible Years parenting program. I have experience working with children And adolescents who are experiencing difficulty in school, anxiety, grief and loss and aggression and anger. I am a member of the Missouri Mental Health Association and Missouri School Counselor Association. I am the parent of three adult children. My hobbies include hiking, biking, nature and outdoors and writing.

Emily is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist. Emily has been working with children and adolescents providing behavioral health therapy for children in the school setting since 2016. Emily earned an undergraduate degree in communications from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, and a Master’s in Social Work from Saint Louis University in 2013. In 2019 she was awarded a clinical license to practice therapy and obtained her Play Therapy registration in 2022. Specific to clinical services, she has experience treating trauma, grief, anxiety and divorce. When not performing her duties as a behavioral health therapist, she can be found spending time with her husband and daughter and traveling.

Gina Holstein is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) who has earned both an undergraduate and master’s degree in counseling from Saint Louis University. Gina is currently working towards gaining a Registered Play Therapist Certification. Her direct clinical experience includes the use of expressive play therapies with adolescents and teens who experience trauma, anxiety, self esteem issues, grief and loss, peer relationship concerns, and emotional regulation. She has additional experience with group therapy for teenage girls diagnosed with autoimmune disorders, and direct case management for children and adults diagnosed with severe mental illness affected by trauma, substance abuse, child separation, homelessness and poverty.

Shaina Smith (Mrs. Shaina) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT) who was born and raised here in St. Louis.  Her experience in the mental health field is wide-ranging, from inpatient, to in-home, to school-based services with a variety of populations.  When she is not practicing child and adolescent therapy, Mrs. Shaina can be found at any sporting event, live music performance, or remote hiking/biking trail.  A huge fan of pizza, the color green, and goats, Mrs. Shaina can talk at length about any of these topics; but she is most excited to learn about YOU!  Through a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Play Therapy approaches, Mrs. Shaina will work with you to reach your goals of mental and emotional well-being.
